ExamPracticeHub ("we", "our", "us", or "the app") is an independent educational exam-preparation app. We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
By using ExamPracticeHub, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Disclaimer – Not a Government App
ExamPracticeHub is an independent, private educational app. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any government body, ministry, department, examination board, or recruitment agency, including but not limited to CBSE (CTET), Chhattisgarh Vyapam (CG TET, CG Lecturer), or any other exam-conducting authority.
- We do not represent any government entity and do not provide any official government service.
- All questions, notes, previous year questions (PYQs), and practice material in the app are compiled for practice and educational purposes only.
- Although we try to keep the content accurate, we do not guarantee that it is complete, error-free, or up to date. Exam patterns, syllabus, dates, and eligibility may change at any time.
- We are not responsible for any decision you make based only on the content of this app.

Information We Collect
1. Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo through Firebase Authentication.
2. Profile Information (optional)
- Mobile number, if you choose to add it. We use it only for your profile and account support. We do not use it for calls or SMS marketing, and we never sell it.
- Profile photo, if you upload or change it.
- Selected exam and language preference, used to personalize your content.
3. App Usage and Progress Data
- Quiz, test, PYQ, and practice attempts, scores, and results
- Progress, daily study targets, streaks, and achievements
- Saved/bookmarked questions, mistakes, and weak-topic data
- Coin balance, coin transactions, and spin wheel rewards
- Duel, tournament, live quiz, and leaderboard participation
- Referral codes and referral history
- Question reports or content you submit (for example, reporting an error in a question)
This data is stored against your account so that your progress syncs across devices.
4. Device Information
- Device identifiers and a push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), used to send app notifications such as streak reminders, practice reminders, and daily test reminders.
- Basic device details (device model, OS version, app version).
5. Crash and Analytics Data
- Firebase Crashlytics: If the app crashes, we collect crash reports (device model, OS version, app version, crash logs, and your account ID) to find and fix problems.
- Firebase Analytics: We collect usage statistics (such as which screens are used and how the app performs) to improve the app.
6. Purchase Information
If you buy coins, the Remove Ads subscription, or Premium, the payment is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We only receive purchase confirmation details (such as the order/purchase token) to verify and activate your purchase. We never receive or store your card, UPI, or bank details.
7. Advertising Information
We show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), IP address, and ad-interaction data to show and measure ads. Where required by law, we ask for your consent to personalized ads through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before such ads are shown. You can change this choice anytime from within the app.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide core features: practice, tests, PYQs, notes, streaks, leaderboard, duels, tournaments, live quizzes, and referrals
- To sync your progress across devices
- To personalize content based on your selected exam and weak topics
- To send notifications and reminders
- To process and verify purchases (coins, subscriptions)
- To show ads that keep the app free
- To detect crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance
- To prevent fraud and misuse (for example, fake referrals or reward abuse)
- To respond to your support requests
Information Visible to Other Users
Some features are social. If you use them, the following may be visible to other users:
- Leaderboard, Duel, Tournament, and Live Quiz: your display name, profile photo, and scores/ranks.
Your email address and mobile number are never shown to other users.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with these service providers, and only as needed to run the app:

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or a government authority.
Subscriptions and Purchases
- The Remove Ads / Premium subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.
- You can cancel anytime from Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.
- Coins are virtual in-app items with no real-money value. They cannot be exchanged for cash.
Data Retention
- We keep your account and progress data as long as your account is active.
- When you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted from our database.
- Crash and analytics data are kept by Firebase according to Google's retention policies.
- Some purchase records may be kept by Google Play as required by law.
Your Choices and Rights
- Edit profile: update your name, photo, mobile number, exam, and language from within the app.
- Notifications: turn off individual notification types from Notification Preferences in the app, or from your phone's settings.
- Ads consent: change your personalized-ads choice anytime from within the app.
- Advertising ID: reset or delete it from your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
- Access or correction: email us to ask about the data we hold about you.
Account and Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time:
- In the app: Profile → Delete Account. Your account and data are deleted immediately.
- By email: Send an email to exampracticehub@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject "Delete My Account". We process such requests within 7 business days.
Deletion permanently removes your profile, quiz/test history, streaks, saved questions, mistakes, coin balance, transaction history, leaderboard data, and referral data. This action cannot be undone. Unused coins and active subscriptions are not refunded on deletion, so please cancel your subscription from Google Play first.
Children's Privacy
ExamPracticeHub is intended for students preparing for competitive exams. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase security rules, and access controls, to protect your data. However, no method of internet transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-Party Links
The app may contain links to external websites, such as official exam websites or YouTube videos. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
